Champagne

Champagne introduction

The vineyard of Vincelles is planted with 70% pinot meunier and 30% chardonnay and pinot noir. In Vincelles, replanting is rare. The configuration of the Vincelles vineyard is exceptional: facing south-southeast, it receives the first rays of the sun and is bathed in late summer in the sweet serenity of sunset. The sub-soil, mostly marno-limestone, is well known to give finesse and delicacy to grapes. Some say “Meunier is in Vincelles what Pinot Noir is in Ay”. The wines of this area are considered structured, well built and refined.
